DAYS 1–13
Ease in, check in, and let Tokyo meet you gently — first impressions, warm streets, and an unhurried welcome into winter Japan.
A fuller Tokyo day — not the loud version, but the lived-in one: neighbourhood streets, small rituals, and time to wander without pressure.
A day of contrast — temples and coastline, then open harbour streets — returning to Tokyo feeling lighter, not tired.
Today the journey turns deeper — into a historic town where winter slows everything down and the story changes pace.
A reset day — wide streets, regional calm, and time to recover your rhythm before the smaller towns and deeper winter return.
We move into the kind of winter most travellers never see — softer sound, heavier snow, and evenings designed for stillness.
A day built around one perfect winter scene — not rushed, not overdone, just timed right.
A day defined by distance and transition — moving through Japan’s cold northern edge before crossing into Hokkaido by evening.
After distance and transition, Hakodate opens up — sea air, clean streets, and winter light that feels expansive rather than heavy.
A smaller town with a gentler rhythm — where winter softens sound, movement, and time.
Arrival with intention — Sapporo isn’t a final rush, but a place to settle into winter and live inside it.
A full day designed with margin — adaptable to weather, mood, and the quiet discoveries that only winter allows.
A soft final morning in Hokkaido — snow underfoot, warm drinks in hand, and an easy departure as your winter journey comes gently to a close.
Say hello to the calm, friendly faces who’ll welcome you in Japan.
The people guiding your journey are deeply familiar with the country — and will be with you throughout the trip.
Co-founder & Trip Lead
Hi, I’m Abhay.
I’ve been travelling across Japan since 2009. I studied there as a university exchange student, speak Japanese, and continue returning season after season — building close local friendships and exploring regions beyond the usual routes.
Japan isn’t a checklist for me. It’s a place I know deeply and keep coming back to.

Hi, I’m Shivani.
I’ve been travelling across Japan since 2016, experiencing it across seasons and regions. Alongside my full-time work as a dental surgeon, I’ve developed a strong appreciation for Japan’s culture and aesthetic sensibility.
Japan is a place I genuinely enjoy sharing — helping the group feel comfortable and at ease along the way.

We keep the group small, stay in safe, central neighborhoods, and move mostly by trains. Your trip lead is with you throughout — someone to guide, translate, and help whenever needed. You’ll have your own space when you want it, and friendly company when you don’t want to be alone.
Twin-share accommodation is included by default, with two separate beds.
Women are always paired with other women.
If you'd prefer your own private room, we're happy to arrange one, subject to hotel availability and an additional supplement.
Many of our travellers join on their own — and most are surprised by how quickly the group comes together.
Whether you enjoy quiet moments to yourself or sharing experiences with others, you'll find a comfortable balance throughout the journey.
With a maximum of 10 travellers, our journeys feel personal from the very beginning.
Conversations happen naturally, everyone travels at a similar pace, and it doesn't take long before strangers start feeling like familiar faces.
From the moment you arrive in Japan until it's time to head home, one of our founders is there to guide the journey.
We'll take care of the logistics, help whenever you need us, and give you the freedom to simply enjoy Japan without worrying about the details.
Thoughtfully planned days. Comfortable hotels. Seamless transport.
Time to experience Japan's iconic highlights alongside its quieter, everyday moments — without ever feeling rushed.
We'll take care of the planning, so you can simply enjoy the journey.
Around 80% of our travelers join solo or as pairs — the group always feels friendly, relaxed, and easy to connect with.

Japan is one of the safest countries in the world, and our journeys are designed to feel comfortable and welcoming for solo female travellers. We stay in safe, central neighbourhoods, travel together between destinations, and women are always paired with other women for twin-share accommodation.
No.
Your trip lead takes care of navigation, tickets, restaurant ordering, and day-to-day communication throughout the journey. You'll naturally pick up a few simple Japanese phrases along the way—but there's absolutely no expectation that you speak the language.
We stay in clean, comfortable, and well-located hotels in safe, central neighbourhoods with excellent access to public transport and local dining.
Hotel rooms in Japan are typically more compact than in Europe or North America, but they're modern, efficient, and exactly where you want to be.
We regularly welcome vegetarian, vegan, Jain, no-egg, and other dietary preferences.
Your trip lead will help with restaurant selection, ordering, and recommendations throughout the journey. While strict Jain options can be more limited in smaller towns, we'll always do our best to help you find suitable meals.
Expect around 8,000–12,000 steps on most days.
We walk at a comfortable pace, take regular breaks, and use Japan's excellent train network to travel between destinations. This is designed to be an enjoyable journey—not a race from one attraction to the next.
Visa decisions are made solely by the Embassy or Consulate of Japan.
We provide a comprehensive visa document checklist and optional one-to-one visa guidance to help you prepare your application.
If your visa application is unsuccessful, refunds will be handled in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
