Beyond Tokyo is an independent, India-based travel company specialising exclusively in Japan.
We design and lead thoughtfully curated, small-group journeys that bring together Japan's celebrated destinations and the quieter, lesser-known places that make the country so extraordinary.
Our group journeys are limited to no more than 10 travellers, with one of our founders travelling alongside the group throughout.
Rather than offering conventional sightseeing itineraries, we focus on creating a more personal, immersive and considered way to experience Japan.

Beyond Tokyo was founded by Abhayjeet Singh and Shivani Saini, bringing together a longstanding personal connection to Japan and a shared belief that travel should be more than a checklist.
Abhayjeet's introduction to Japan began through Japanese friends during his time at the University of Cambridge, followed by his first visit to the country at 18.
Together, the founders set out to create journeys that reveal both the Japan people dream of visiting and the Japan they might never discover on their own.
