Your ₹4,999 deposit is 100% refundable if you cancel within 7 days of booking.

The remaining balance is due 45 days before your departure.

If you're booking within 45 days of departure, the full amount is payable at the time of booking. We'll send reminders well in advance so you don't have to keep track of the dates yourself.

This gives you the flexibility to choose your preferred airline, departure city, travel class, and schedule. If you'd like, we're always happy to recommend suitable flight options that align with your journey.

Twin-share accommodation is included by default.

If you're travelling with a friend or partner, you'll share a room together. Solo travellers are paired with another traveller of the same gender. A private room can also be arranged for an additional charge, subject to availability.

Yes.

Female travellers are always paired only with other female travellers. We never place women in mixed-gender shared rooms.

If we're unable to pair you with another female traveller, we'll never place you in a mixed-gender shared room.

Instead, we'll offer you a private room at a reduced single-room supplement whenever possible, or the option to upgrade to a private room. We'll discuss the options with you before your booking is confirmed.

Many of our journeys include solo female travellers. Our small groups are welcoming, respectful, and designed to help everyone feel comfortable from day one.

Yes. We regularly welcome vegetarian, vegan, no-egg, and Jain travellers.

Before your journey, we'll understand your dietary preferences and help you navigate suitable options throughout the trip. While strict Jain choices can be more limited in some smaller towns, your trip leader will always help you find the best available alternatives.

Japan has more vegetarian-friendly options than many people expect, especially in larger cities. We'll recommend restaurants, explain local menus where needed, and help you enjoy the best available options throughout your journey.

Most days involve around 8,000–12,000 steps at a comfortable pace.

Our journeys are designed for travellers with a reasonable level of mobility. We take regular breaks and use Japan's excellent public transport wherever it makes sense.

We recommend one medium suitcase (20–24") and one comfortable day bag per traveller.

Travelling lighter makes moving through Japan's stations, trains, and hotels much easier. We'll also share a detailed packing guide before your journey.

Some journeys include luggage forwarding between selected destinations.

Where it isn't included, your trip leader will help make travelling with your luggage as smooth as possible.

Most of our hotels either have self-service laundry facilities or a laundromat nearby, making it easy to pack lighter for your journey.

We'll guide you through the visa application process, provide the required travel documents from our side, and are always happy to answer any questions along the way.

If you'd like additional assistance, we also offer an optional visa support service for a nominal fee.

We strongly recommend that your passport has at least 6 months' validity remaining from your date of departure from India.

While entry requirements can vary, some airlines may require additional passport validity before allowing passengers to board. To help ensure a smooth journey, we recommend renewing your passport if it has less than six months' validity remaining. If you're unsure, we're happy to guide you.

Yes. Solo travellers are matched with another traveller of the same gender whenever possible.

If we aren't able to find a suitable match, we'll let you know before confirming your booking and discuss the available private room options.

We recommend our journeys for children aged 4 years and above.

The itinerary includes regular train travel, changing hotels, and walking each day. Every child is different, so parents are best placed to decide whether the journey suits their child.

Children under 6 share a bed with their parents at no additional charge.

Children aged 6 years and above receive their own bed throughout the journey.

Yes.

Every traveller, including children, receives a Japan eSIM with mobile data throughout the journey.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. If you need to cancel your journey, refunds will be handled in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which explains the refund schedule and terms in detail.

Depending on your travel insurance policy, you may also be able to claim certain cancellation costs. Where applicable, we'll gladly provide the supporting documents required for your insurance claim.

If requested at least 30 days before departure, we may be able to transfer your booking to another traveller, subject to visa eligibility, availability, and completion of the necessary booking formalities.
